National Pink Day 2026

A MEANINGFUL HOLIDAY CELEBRATED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY

It is National Pink Day, June 23, 2026. We chose the Harper hat for Hattingdon to wear for the event. The Harper design features a wide pink oval “saucer” hat with matching pink nosebobs. Let’s go!

Harper was created very early in the Hattingdon cartoon horse series. It is second only to “Curtis the First”. How about that?

Pink-themed parties and events

Host a pink-themed party! Whether it’s a birthday bash or a casual get-together with friends, you can decorate the space with pink balloons, streamers, and tablecloths. You can also serve pink drinks and snacks like pink lemonade and strawberry cupcakes.

Wearing pink for national pink day

Wear your favorite pink outfit or accessories to show your love for the color. You can also encourage your friends and family to join in on the fun by wearing something pink too.

Decorating with pink

Spruce up your home or workspace by incorporating pink décor elements. You can add pink flowers, cushions, and wall art to create a bright and cheerful ambiance.

Flashback Harper

0_00_PINK_Blog_Header

Hattingdon is lovely in a pink Chanel inspired saucer hat. Vivian named the hat Harper. But there is more to the story. She was not the very first Hattingdon. She was the second.

Harper is the second Hattingdon hat. Guess who the first is.

Curtis the First

Curtis was the first ever Hattingdon cartoon horse. Curtis merchandise did amazingly well. We saw Curtis tees all over the D.C. area, and a short time later received reports from folks that a lot of people in all parts of the country were wearing them. This helped us immensely in raising the funds necessary to rescue horses at all levels of risk, and take action for their safety.

For those of you who have not seen Curtis, here he is — always Vivian’s first love. Sigh.

Isn’t he handsome?

Then off she went. Vivian began creating so many hats, she needed to name them in some way or other. So she decided to give each hat design its own identifing name.

Happy Flashback Friday. Thank you for visiting with us.
