June 1st — National Red Rose Day

Oooooh. We just saw a few minutes ago that it is National Red Rose Day. It is late in the day, but we decided to go ahead and post anyway. Update: We began with three hats, and just added a fourth.

How about these gorgeous hats? They were created between 2017 and 2019.

And the pièce de résistance. How about this for a “hatful of smiles”? This is Hattingdon’s most famous red rose hat ever.

Look what Vivian came across on an old flash drive. She doesn’t even remember making it. Hattingdon looks very fetching, doesn’t she? Is that a “come hither look” she is giving? Ha ha ha ha.

Another Day

Oh, look. There is another “National Red Rose Day”, celebrated annually on June 12th. Well, being a Louisville gal, Hattingdon has plenty of red rose hats because of the Kentucky Derby. We got her covered.

Flashback Friday with Anita

Today Vivian takes us all the way back to 2012 for one of her all time favorites — the “Anita” cross-banded turban.

It comes in three colorways:— black, a rich denim blue and a multi. Let’s go!

This week’s Classic Hat Monday features a fabulous look. Vivian named the design Viveca.

The Viveca classic hat features a black dome and rich red brim. The hatband and nosebobs are a rich golden yellow decorated with an animal pattern made of alternating letter V’s in white.

This look is so popular, a big favorite and deservedly so.

Butterfly love

Vivian has created a glorious, almost ethereal, saucer hat featuring a butterfly motif throughout. She made the hat in four luscious colors — blue, green, pink and yellow — and named the design “Yvette”.
