Today, September 20th, is Hattingdon creator Vivian Grant’s birthday. She is healthy and going strong. Hooray. Oh, and she loves chocolate. So she chose a chocolate cake.
Vivian writes: “I offer many thanks to my forebearers who are instrumental in my longevity and good health,” writes Vivian. “I am also so thankful for all the wonderful birthday wishes I have received, and am still receiving. Thank you with all my heart.”

How did Vivian come up with the name Hillary? The Hill Sisters.
Patty Smith Hill was an American composer and teacher who is perhaps best known for co-writing, with her sister Mildred Hill, the tune which later became popularly known as “Happy Birthday to You”.
They hailed from Louisville, Kentucky — just like Hattingdon!

Today, April 22nd, is superstar NFL running back and entrepreneur Marshawn Lynch’s birthday.
Hattingdon Horse creator Vivian Farrell adores Mr Lynch — as an athlete and as a person — so much so that in 2012 she created a cartoon hat in his honour. Mr Lynch also goes by “Money Lynch” (@MoneyLynch on social media), and the inspiration for the design.
