Vivian’s Fave Hats: Letter P

Hello there. Our journey through the alphabet continues. Welcome to the Letter “P”.

Vivian has selected two vintage hats this time around. Let’s go!

Classic Hat

Our first offering is a smart black and tan hat created in Hattingdon’s distinctive classic silhouette. Vivian named the design Paige.

The Paige hat features alternating stripes of black and tan and white, that partially extends to the crown, which is adorned with a coordinating button.

A very smart look. She can go just about anywhere in this hat.

Fashion Hat

This is one of Vivian’s earliest designs and an all-time favourite of hers and Hattingdon followers — a colorful mod cap she named Peggy.

The hat is made up of sections of lime green, bright orange and raspberry pink, patterned with white floral inspired shapes and rings. It has a lime green brim and capped off with a bright orange button.

Vivian adds, “I so love the shape of the hat, the design and the colorful decoration. It is bright and fun and cheery, and makes me feel happy. I had the Peggy design on a tote bag for many years, and it was absolutely amazing the attention it got.”

Vivian’s Fave Hats: Letter O

We have a single classic hat with a name beginning with the letter “O” — and no fashion hat! We will get after that. But first . . . . let’s take a look at this one.

Classic

Vivian created a lovely classic hat in the colors of the sand and the sea, and named it Ocean. Sweet. By the way, we got the name Ocean from a baby names website! Here she is. Isn’t she lovely, and soothing to look at?

We love doing this, and have had a lot of surprises. One issue that did not occur to us is that we would have some letters in the alphabet not represented. So Vivian has had to create some additional hats along the way. She loves it though. See you again soon.

Hello there. How are you? Are you hanging in with us okay? We are beginning to get close to finish line. Hooray! Until then . . . .

Classic Hat

First up we have a very classy Classic hat. Love the colour combination. It is amazing how yellow and gray are always stunning together. Design name Natalie.

Fashion Hat

This hat was created in the very early days of Hattingdon Horses. Vivian has created several hats in this particular silhouette which she named the “mod cap”. This was her first one. Meet “Nina”. Love, love, love!

Vivian’s Fave Hats: Letter M

It is amazing we are virtually halfway through the alphabet already. There is still plenty of fun and lovely hats ahead.

We have two very different hat styles. A very pretty classic hat and a dramatically fun headdress.

Classic Hat

The Melonie classic hat is a striped confection made with the deliciously soft colours of lemon, lime and a gorgeous cantaloupe. There is more to it.

Hattingdon holds a lollipop in her mouth made of the same delicious hues.

Fashion Hat

Feel like a bit of drama? Then you will enjoy Marlee.

The Marlee headdress features a trio of acid green roses accompanied by trailing vines mirroring the same colours.
