Today, April 22nd, is superstar NFL running back and entrepreneur Marshawn Lynch’s birthday.
Hattingdon Horse creator Vivian Farrell adores Mr Lynch — as an athlete and as a person — so much so that in 2012 she created a cartoon hat in his honour. Mr Lynch also goes by “Money Lynch” (@MoneyLynch on social media), and the inspiration for the design.

Marshawn Lynch. That dimple. That smile!
Happy Birthday Marshawn Lynch. Wishing you a most wonderful day.
The Anichka hat is made in Hattingdon’s distinctive classic silhouette, created in support of the people and country of Ukraine, in the blue and yellow colors of their flag.

The name Anichka in the Ukrainian, Hebrew origin — means grace, or favoured — and the reason we chose it for this hat, at this time.
The Ukraine Flag

Ukraine acquired a distinctive flag in 1949 under the communist regime. The Red Banner of the Soviet Union with its golden hammer, sickle, and star was modified for use in Ukraine by having a horizontal stripe of light blue added at the bottom.
After Ukraine again proclaimed its independence on August 24, 1991, many fought to maintain a communist system under that flag. Eventually, however, anticommunist forces were successful, and the flag was replaced with the nationalist blue-yellow banner on January 28, 1992, seen above.
Hattingdon just had to have a new hat and decided on an Autumn inspired one (although she already has the darling Asher Top Hat). Here it is, named a just a bit predictably (smile) . . . Autumn.
We have two versions of her new Fall leaf crown hat. Which one do you prefer? The one beginning with the gold leaf or green leaf?
