Hattingdon chose to wear one of her all time favourite hat silhouettes — the “sweetheart” hat.
Vivian created the hat in a luscious sunny yellow, decorating the large upturned brim with a circular floral inspired motif in crisp white.

Hello there. Hattingdon is modeling one of her most popular hats. It is done in a lovely, chic saffron yellow, embellished with round stitching in white, and a fashionably large all white butterfly. So very chic!

The name Simone is a girl’s name of French origin meaning “hearkening”. The elegant French feminization of Simon, it strikes that all-important balance between unusual and familiar, and oozing with Gallic sophistication.
She looks glorious.

Back in 2015, a charming ladies’ gardening club based in Atlanta asked Vivian to create a Hattingdon just for them. She did, and named the design Solana. We had tee shirts made for them, tote bags, greeting cards and mugs. Here she is.
Solana is a girl’s name of Spanish origin meaning “sunshine”.
By the way, this darling hat puts us in mind of that George and Ira Gershwin, Heyward Du Bose song — “Summertime”, as sung by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. Priceless.
