Tangie

The Tangie fashion cap is so colorful and festive. Vivian created it some time ago — about 2020 or 2021 or so — and it somehow got overlooked. Let’s take care of that right now!

About

The Tangie design features a delightful “fashion cap” made from overlapping slices of three types of citrus fruits — orange, lime and raspberry orange (also called blood orange) — along with a few tender tendrils. Isn’t she delightful?

Pretty in peach

National Peach Day

August 27 is National Peach Day on the National Day Calendar to celebrate one of summertime’s most scrumptious fruits known as the peach!

August is prime peach season in the U.S. and we want everyone to enjoy a few peaches, plus remember the hardworking peach growers who provide us with this delicious fruit.

Here is our Hattingdon in a classic hat in peach. We named the design Tangie.

Tangie Hattingdon Classic.

Hattingdon looks luscious in peach, don’t you think? How are you celebrating? Wishing you a lovely day!

Hello and happy Classic Hat Monday.

We are starting the week with a super lovely and brand new classic hat in shades of gray. Hattingdon always looks lovely in gray. Sigh. Here she is.

Hayden Classic.

We hope you love it as much as we do and it brings you a ‘hatful of smiles’.

Bye for now. Love, Hattingdon.

Cadence

When Vivian created this design all those many moons ago, she named it Cadence. It is one of the most popular Hattingdon designs ever, and still going!

Vivian decided to “freshen it up” a bit — just a little (wink).

Cadence 2024.

Then . . . . there is this one. Vivian made a few adjustments when creating a third version. She says this is the one she wants. So charming.

Vivian’s Pick.

Which one catches your eye?

New name?

Since we gave her a bit of a make over, a group of Hattingdon followers asked us to rename her Allegra. It is a very nice name. Here’s what it means — and how it is typically used.

Open quote in Hattingdon brown.

Allegra is Italian in origin. It means happy and jaunty. The musical term Allegro means “quickly with a happy air”.

How lovely.

But some Hattingdon fans wrote us saying that Allegra sounds like she has a cold or an allergy or something, and might sneeze any minute. Hahahaha. Hmmm. We cannot have that can we?

Easy. We will continue to call her Cadence. Thank you, and see you again soon.
