Vivian has been going through all of her design files and rediscovering some really wonderful Hattingdons. Here is a darling creation she had totally forgotten about. Today, the 4th of July, seems the perfect day to “liberate” it and give her a post of its own.

The Statue of Liberty has as many colorful stories surrounding her. Here are a few basic facts instead.
The Statue of Liberty is a 305-foot (93-metre) statue located on Liberty Island in Upper New York Bay, off the coast of New York City. The statue is a personification of liberty in the form of a woman. She holds a torch in her raised right hand and clutches a tablet in her left.
We do not think you will find many, if any to argue with any of above, especially the “personification of liberty in the form of a woman.”
We have another Hattingdon coming right up in a few minutes — a 4th of July Classic Hat!
Happy 4th. Love, Hattingdon & Co.
